Massive stability fixes, just solid all around. If I remember right Snow Leopard was just some slight improvements and fixes. It's never good if you buy something right as a major change is happening.
I get what you mean but I think that's different than the Vintage/ Obsolete list. Vintage products are typically ineligible for repairs at Apple Stores and Apple Authorized Service Providers, unless spare parts remain available.
